After 13 and half hours of traveling we've made it into Colombia...We couldn't have asked for a smoother trip...the only thing was our connecting flight from Atlanta to Bogotá was delayed 2 hours but that just gave me more time to spend with my wonderful wife...
When we arrived at the airport everyone was wearing winter jackets but when we stepped outside it felt more like fall...my biggest disappointement was the fact that they wouldn't let me film the customs official sayin "WELCOME TO COLOMBIA!"...
Anyway we've made it through just fine and the first thing we did when we got in the room ?...Donna started to unpack and I got online...I was itching all day to be on the computer...
Mario, our escort will be picking us up at 11 tomorrow - apparently the appt to meet the children is at 4:00 p.m. and also it takes 3 hours to get to where they are not 2...tomorrow is a big day...
Signing off here - gonna head to bed...we'll try our best to keep you updated...below are some pics of our travels and the room we are in - it's gonna be close quarters for 5 wks!

Hey Scott! I read your post and realized I was going to be in the Atlanta Airport today --but probably after you. If you were delayed 2 hours, I could have surprised you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you -- Kevin
So happy to hear from you already and glad to hear your trip went smoothly. Hopefully you are sleeping a little before the most incredible day you are about to have!! A day you will treasure forever. Love and God Bless,
Natalie

Tell them Aunt Heidi says hello.

We are really excited for you Scott and Donna!!! Wow! What God has waiting for you in a few hours. Can't wait for the updates. We love you, The Franks
I can't imagine traveling for 13 and a half hours, but after all this waiting time, it probably means nothing to you.
Love the bedroom. It might seem a bit crowded.
I wish I could share the feelings both of you will have tomorrow. There are happenings that come along only ONCE, once in an entire life time. May God bless both of you during those first few precious seconds! I'm positive they'll never be forgotten.
Oh...I'm so excited! I am praying for you right now! You are probably just arriving to meet your children! We stayed in that same room at Hotel Paris for 6 weeks this past fall and it became our home-away-from-home. Now when I pray for you each night I will picture you tucking your sweet children in their beds in that room!
Praise God for smooth travel. I am so excited for you and have been praying your big meeting goes well and God's hand is on each of your hearts as He makes you into a forever family. Thanks for sharing with us! God bless!
love,
darlene grieco
