We want to share with you some wonderful news...we have received a referral from Colombia! Our referral is for 3 children. 2 girls and a boy. The two girls - Carol and Anji - are ages 6 and 2...while John is 4. Reality still hasn't set in...we are just taking tonight to enjoy the news and to thank God for bringing us this far.
It's amazing how you have one idea as to how things are gonna go but God has a whole different idea in mind for you. In my mind I was thinking "It's gonna be boys...it's gonna be boys" but when we got the call today and I heard that it was 2 girls and a boy...that all vanished...then when I saw the pictures of the children that are soon be my daughters and my son...I immediately fell in love...they are beautiful - that's really all I can say...just beautiful...
As for any details about our children - we really don't have any yet. We will be receiving a packet from our agency on Friday. Apparently it's all in Spanish and we are waiting to have it all translated. And as for pictures we would love to share them with you but we are not allowed to post them online as of yet - but the minute they give us the go ahead we'll share them.
So tonight we're just enjoying this feeling (and our quiet house - for now)...tomorrow all the details start...the details of trying to get to Colombia in a month. The bedrooms have to be done...another bed ordered...plane tickets booked...things at work to get situated (which by the way props to the gang at Wall-to-Wall - you guys were AWESOME this morning when I got the news!)...and just 'stuff to do' I guess...but I gotta tell you so far God has done a great job of guiding this thing so I'm not too worried cuz I know He's in control.

I have to say I smile every time I think about you getting TWO girls and ONE boy. I can't wait to see Zachary & Carlie's reaction, when they hear the news! Carlie told me a few times she thought you were getting girls.....guess she was right! You do realize that our house will now be more quiet than yours????? LOL!!! We are SOOOOO happy for you guys! Don't worry, I have enough "pink" stuff at my place for both of our homes to enjoy.............. 1 hockey player and 2 female soccer players. Not too bad. I will teach them the finer points of playing aggressive female soccer, so their Daddy can feel right at home. No problemo.......... I guess some of the "boy" bedding will need to be returned. Hopefully, Little John will be comfortable around his new favorite color........"pink", because there's gonna be a whole mess of it at the Krebs' hacienda !!! P.S.
